suiteg is a company for process development and operation of innovative ways to produce food.
The focus is on plant-based foods from raw materials obtained through state-of-the-art cultivation in indoor and outdoor farming. The processes and operation are based on real-time data and technological innovations, respectively, and ensure controlled cultivation – independent of external geographical framework and weather conditions.
The driver of suiteg is the claim to enable maximum efficient, sustainable and resilient production of plant-based food. The design of the process solutions, the cultivation logics and their technological architectures are distributed internationally as licenses or digital services.
One publicly known project is container-based vertical farming, which is currently being implemented in Sweden in cooperation with the Swedish company Green & Growing. The range of services includes individually developed digital services as well as the development of product recipes or cultivation scenarios for high-quality and differentiated products. Commercialization models are also part of suiteg's product portfolio for partners and customers.
suiteg GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pfeifer & Langen Industrie- und Handels-KG, a holding company of leading companies in the European food and beverage industry.
The portfolio of Pfeifer & Langen Familienholding is characterized by well-known brands, private labels and a strong position in the industrial customer business. The holdings can be found on several continents in numerous countries from Ireland to New Zealand. Companies in the group include: Intersnack (funny-frisch), Pfeifer & Langen Zucker (DIAMANT), Savanna Ingredients (new low-calorie carbohydrates), endori (plant-based food) or nexnoa (extrusion technologies).
The Pfeifer & Langen Group (18,000 employees) has a partnership with thousands of farmers that has grown over generations. They have been supplying us with sugar beet since 1870, from which we have been producing sugar for over 150 years. Since then, the Group's portfolio of companies has diversified and grown considerably. Without exception, the value chains of all our shareholdings are based on the principle of "from field to fork”.
